RCIA (Become a Catholic!)

The Church is always growing! Praise God! Those interested in joining the Church should sign up now for RCIA, which stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.

Here is a registration form. You may submit it to the St. Joseph’s office or give it to Fr. Mike directly.

The schedule will be posted here soon. Classes begin on September 17, 2018. They meet once a week (except for breaks) until the Easter Vigil. At the Easter Vigil, the catechuemens and candidates enter the Church fully.

You need not be certain you want to be Catholic to sign up for RCIA. All are welcome. Even current Catholics are welcome to come and learn more about their faith.

We are blessed to have a variety of presenters teaching RCIA, including Fr. Mike, Sr. Joan, Dcn. Tom, and several others. Given our link with St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Shelbyville, we are combining forces to offer one RCIA program in Shelbyville.
